Posted On: 12/14/2016
With only ten days until Christmas, we’re hoping that the weather stays sunny so we can get all of our customers to their holiday destinations safely! We’re also hoping to get our Christmas shopping done before Christmas Eve. For all those people out there like us, dreaming of a warmer setting and a vacation under the tree, we’ve got an article about the top destinations during the Christmas season. Read more to get some ideas for your 2017 Christmas trip!
DESTINATION CHRISTMAS
We found our information from an article on The Huffington Post Travel site and the majority of the destinations they found were in tropical locations. Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta are two locations in Mexico visited by Christmas vacationers. Both destinations offer great shopping, water sports, activities, beach bathing, and miles of beautiful seashore. If it were me, I’d wait until February to escape to an island!
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Hawaii, Jamaica, and Barbados are three other destinations for Christmas travel on the list. The food in the islands is supposed to be amazing. According to the article with The Huffington Post, the caribbean islands have a fruitcake that is worth eating...unlike the fruitcakes we get here in New England.
DOMESTIC DESTINATIONS
Las Vegas,Miami, and New York City are the three big domestic destinations at Christmastime. Like the McCallisters in Home Alone 2: Lost in NY who were ready to make a palm tree Christmas tree, there are some places to escape to for warmth within our country. However, like Tuesday’s posting, New York City’s charm far outweighs the cold weather.
