The 2015 Winter Wedding Show season is fast approaching! For anyone looking for great wedding vendors and venues in the Lakes Region, there is a specialized publication for this area called The Lakes Region Bride Magazine and blog. The Lakes Region Magazine owns their website with Capitol Bride out of Concord. Both publications offer images and links to couples looking for a place to start on their wedding chore lists. You can even look at both publications electronically from the website’s link to issuu.com.
One of the cool things about this website is that it doesn’t just appeal to the current, typical New England wedding trend of rustic weddings with wooden fixtures, barns, and cute Cowboy boots as a wedding dress accessory. They appeal to the vintage brides, flowy summer brides, and the winter wonderland brides. Their blog shows you a variety of bridal trends that are accompanied by opportunities in the Lakes Region. It’s an awesome idea for a regionalized Pinterest! The magazine and blog also focus on real New Hampshire weddings as well as photo shoots of modeled weddings. Each “real wedding” entry includes the couple’s list of vendors from the Lakes Region and the DIY projects they took on for their event. It’s just enough to get anyone inspired about a marital day.
You can access an entire list of bakeries, caterers, photography, and other wedding professionals from the site that will seriously ease your anxiety and help you remember some of the things you may have forgotten about “the big day!” The Lakes Region Airport Shuttle Service will be listed on the Lakes Region Bride website soon, along with all the other region transport companies. You can also find us at their bridal show at the Margate in Laconia on February 22nd! This event is open to the public and showcases dresses, linens, cakes, table settings, catering, door prizes, and free hair designs! The admission fee at the door is $5 per person to view everything the area has to offer!
Editor and Publisher of The Lakes Region Bride Kathi Hopper says: “It just feels like there are a lot people excited about their weddings and excited to be engaged since Valentine’s Day. There will be new everything for 2015 and that’s what brides are looking for! New colors, new designs, new everything!” That’s exactly what Kathi and her wedding-loving employees hope to offer the brides of New Hampshire! If you or someone you know just got engaged, treat yourselves to this event on February 22nd by RSVP-ing on Facebook!
